Marvin
Krullmann
was born in 2001 in Gütersloh, Germany. He currently lives and studies in Bielefeld, where he is pursuing a degree in Photography and Image Media at Bielefeld University of Applied Sciences. His passion for photography emerged during his high school years while completing his Abitur (German secondary education diploma). What captivated him was not just the art of photography itself, but particularly the underlying technical aspects. His photographic journey began with experiments in analog imagery before transitioning to digital photography. Through his studies, he deepened his expertise and shifted focus toward generative image systems and digital manipulation of his works. Despite his progressive experimentation and exploration of new artistic horizons, the camera remains an indispensable tool for him. His love for image archives and working with them holds as much significance as the fascination of creating infinite new visuals through generative systems.
Marvin’s artistic approach is defined by a profound appreciation for traditional photography, combined with a constant drive to expand the medium’s boundaries through modern technology and innovative concepts. His work invites viewers to see the world through his eyes—a world where the lines between reality and digitally manipulated realms blur, and every image tells a story.
